- delta
- the soil deposited by a river where it meets the sea

storm surge- the abnormal rise in sea level accompanying a hurricane
tropical cyclone- a storm originating over tropical or subtropical
waters and characterized by heavy rains and strong circular winds
wrack line- material cast ashore by the previous high tide or wave
